Adult Learning Events
At Temple Menorah, learning never stops. Our adult education programs bring together curious minds for monthly luncheons, Torah study, film screenings, and meaningful conversations rooted in Jewish wisdom and modern life.
Creative Aging
Growing older is one of life’s greatest journeys, and Judaism has much to teach about living it with wisdom, purpose, and joy.
Creative Aging: A Sacred Journey is our monthly luncheon and educational program devoted to aging well in body, mind, and spirit. Through workshops, sessions with guest speakers, meaningful conversations, and practical insights, we explore what it means to embrace each stage of life with resilience, curiosity, and gratitude.
Come learn how to get good at getting older, no matter your age.

Lunchtime Learning
On select Thursdays at noon, we gather on Zoom to study together. Topics include the weekly parasha (Torah portion), holidays, Jewish philosophy, and more. Our conversations connect ancient Jewish wisdom with the questions and challenges of modern life, and every participant brings something valuable to the discussion. Whether you have been studying Torah for decades or are opening it for the very first time, you are welcome – just bring your curiosity (and your lunch).

Community Films and Book Discussions
Some of the best conversations begin with a good story.
Throughout the year, we gather for film screenings, book discussions, and community conversations that explore Jewish history, culture, ethics, and contemporary life. Often held after Shabbat services or as special events, these programs offer relaxed and engaging opportunities to connect, reflect, and learn together.
No homework required, except perhaps finishing the book – although all are welcome.
