Mission
Temple Menorah’s Rosenberg Senior Center is dedicated to continuous intellectual, spiritual and physical well-being through one’s adult life. At no point on this continuum should one neglect to challenge oneself or to make new discoveries about one’s passions.  The Rosenberg Senior Center strives to facilitate this process through cognitive and spiritual stimulation, physical activity and multi-generational interactions with the Temple Menorah community and the larger Jewish community.  Stressing opportunities for social interaction, relevant speakers of Jewish interest and classes that both challenge and entertain, the Center provides seniors with a conduit to continued self discovery.

Staffing
The Rosenberg Senior Center is directed by Morgan Land, who has extensive experience in inter-generational programming, Jewish education and film. Morgan has a BA in Theater from Penn State University, an MA in Drama Therapy from NYU, is a graduate of the Los Angeles Film School and has received numerous awards for excellence in Jewish Education.

Reservations
Advanced reservations are requested for each program date.

Monthly registration forms are in the Temple office,
at each program event and online (follow the links
to download the calendar and registration forms).
The Registration and Emergency Medical Release form must be returned to the Temple office on or before the first date you attend.

Hours of Operation
Mondays............. 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Wednesdays........ 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Center
The Rosenberg Senior Center operates from
11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays.

A delicious, kosher hot lunch is included as part of the daily activities.

A daily charge of $10.00 for Temple Menorah members or $12 for non-members covers all the activities including lunch, speakers and enrichment programs.

The program also provides field trips to various local cultural centers.  In this case, the daily charge is replaced by the admission prices to the specific venue.  Lunch is not provided on field trip days.

Transportation
For seniors unable to drive, transportation can be provided for a nominal charge. The Center operates a 12 passenger van to pick up and return seniors to their home.

Health Requirements
The Rosenberg Senior Center is designed for the healthy and active senior interested in participating in stimulating and challenging programs.

The Center is currently unable accept seniors who require assistance with feeding, movement or use of bathroom facilities unless accompanied by a personal care-giver. The Senior Center retains the right to refuse participation to any person for any reason, at any time.
