1. Do I have to be a member to attend services?
Services are open to the entire community. Friday night services have varying start times depending on the type of service. Please check the Schedule of Shabbat Services for the starting times. Shacharit services (every Saturday morning) begin at 10:00am and are followed by a light Kiddush lunch. Please be aware that during admittance to services during the High Holy Days is limited to those with tickets.
2. Can I setup a tour of the Temple?
Tours are offered by appointment only. Please contact our Executive Director to setup a convenient time to visit the synagogue.
3. Do we have to be members for our kids to attend Religious School?
Yes. Synagogue membership is required to attend Religious School.
4. Do you have a preschool program?
Yes. Tuvia Preschool is one of the pre-eminent Jewish preschools in the South Bay community with a nurturing and caring staff, extended hours for the working parent, daily hot lunch program, enrichment program offerings, daily specialists, and interactive programming with the Rabbi and Cantor. Tuvia offers programs from 2-years through Kindergarten.
5. Do we need to be a Temple member to send our children to Tuvia Preschool?
You do not need to be a member of Temple Menorah to send your child to Tuvia, however, Temple members receive a significant reduction in preschool tuition.
6. Do you have programs for seniors?
Yes. The Rosenberg Senior Center is designed for the active and healthy senior who is interested in engaging in social, educational and stimulating programs. The Center operates from 11am – 3pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. For more information about the Rosenberg Senior Center, please contact synagogue office and ask for the Senior Center Administrator. Membership at Temple Menorah is not required to participate in Senior Center activities.
7. Do you offer youth groups?
Yes. We offer a variety of youth groups and youth programs for different ages groupings ranging from 2nd through 12th grades.
8. Do you offer dues assistance?
Yes. Please contact the Executive Director to inquire about financial assistance.
